Enactus Tilburg’s most recurring event–Feedback Evenings!
In order to motivate our future entrepreneurs, we polish their ideas through our dedicated Feedback Evenings. These sessions are designed to provide a constructive platform where each team can present the startups they have been working on as well as receive critical insights from insightful and experienced panelists. Most importantly, they would usually present their progress as if they were in a Shark Tank episode, pitching their ideas whilst provided with a time limit to prepare for the yearly National Exposition, killing two birds with one stone! This collaborative environment not only enhances the quality of each initiative but also fosters a culture of learning and improvement. Through consistent and thoughtful feedback, we help turn innovative ideas into impactful, sustainable solutions that can make a real difference in the world. Whether you are just starting out or fine-tuning the final details of your project, Feedback Evenings are an invaluable part of the Enactus Tilburg journey, ensuring every team is equipped with the tools and confidence to succeed.
On our first feedback evening that was held on November 30, 2023, we had presentations from 5 Think Tanks and also our existing projects: CrayCycle and Hobbee. Each team had a chance to come in with a walk-in music of their choice, set up their presentations, and pitch their ideas and progress to the sharks for 5 minutes. Our esteemed judges, that includes Krzysztof TrzebiĆski, the founder of Thirsty Clothing, James Small, the Scientific Director of the Centre of Entrepreneurship at Tilburg University, Samantha Abigail Soendjojo, the HR manager of Enactus Tilburg, and Kacper Goralewski, the Project Manager of Enactus Tilburg, provided feedbacks and remarks to enhance the teams for the coming National Exposition. The night ended on a good note as we saw how aspired our teams were, sharing their challenges to get through with their ideas and how they overcame them all.
We are then followed by our second feedback evening on March 8, 2024. Similar to the feedback evenings before, the night was filled as a platform for the teams to receive invaluable feedback on their projects to get them on track for the National Exposition. Here, we were honored to have Cem from RoundOne Ventures and Alexis from 180 Degrees Consulting Tilburg as our guests to provide valuable guidance to further strengthen their projects.
Enactus Tilburg 2023/2024 was finally wrapped by our last event of the year, the third feedback evening. On the 17th of May, we created a feedback evening that was quite different from its previous ones. Although there were still presentations from each team, we asked our Think Tanks to reflect on their year in Enactus, some self-development, challenges, and also the lessons they have learned from being a part of their Think Tank. The night ended on a more sentimental note, with a potluck party for dinner whilst reminiscing about the second family we had created as it all came to an end. All in all, we would like to thank Enactus Tilburg 23/24 for creating a great community. Here’s to the future of Enactus Tilburg!
